Divine Dzion Hosiery to Seek GSA, Expand Sales to Federal Agencies
ST. LOUIS, May 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Divine Dzion Hosiery announced plans today to expand their name brand line of hosiery sales by applying for a GSA Schedule and actively pursuing federal contracts. Government officials utilize GSA Schedules as a means of procuring goods and services knowing that companies on these schedules have been qualified and thoroughly vetted by the GSA (General Services Administration).
"The opportunity to service government accounts significantly opens up more markets throughout the region as our goal continues to be to expand our hosiery line for all women of color," states Marcia Parks, Founder & CEO at Divine Dzion Hosiery. She continues, "Getting our company on a GSA Schedule will expand our reach, not only to the federal level, but also to numerous state and county agencies throughout the region allowing them to take advantage of our hosiery line at set government pricing."
Through market research, Divine Dzion learned that comfortable fit and flattering colors satisfy the primary needs for most consumers. The finished product is a high-quality, control top, sandal foot hosiery available in ultra-sheer and day sheer styles. The product line includes eleven colors and six sizes and is sold directly to the consumer via their online store, stand along stores, churches and individuals throughout the United States and the Bahamas.
Divine Dzion Hosiery is celebrating their 10th Anniversary by producing a family-friendly concert on June 28th 2014 at the Friendly Temple MB Church, 5515 Dr. Martin Luther King Dr., in St Louis, MO. The concert will feature Grammy Award winner, Dottie Peoples, Gregg "Happy Guitar" Haynes, Jewell & Converted, and Cheryl Brown.
