DiVosta Homes Expands Presence in Sarasota Market

SARASOTA, Fla., May 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DiVosta Homes is expanding its presence in the Sarasota market with plans to build a new active adult community, Sandhill Preserve in the prestigious Palmer Ranch community.

DiVosta recently purchased 111 lots in Palmer Ranch, located at the intersection of Central Sarasota Parkway and Honore Avenue.  The purchase represents the first phase of a potential 350 lots on 125 acres from Palmer Ranch Holdings, LTD.  The builder expects to open the new DiVosta community in early 2014.

Planned amenities at the gated community of Sandhill Preserve include resort-style pool, clubhouse and fitness center. The community is expected to offer several single-story plans that range from approximately 1,500 to 2,400 sq. ft. with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3 baths. 

The community is expected to begin land development efforts by the summer with the start of sales to begin in early 2014.
