"DJANGO UNCHAINED" Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Vinyl Now Available

Coinciding with the Academy Award-winning film's DVD and Blu-Ray release, the vinyl is perfect for record aficionados, Quentin Tarantino diehards, and all music lovers alike. The 2-LP package includes 2 180-gram red splattered records in a double gatefold package and full-size artwork.

Recently, legendary writer and director Tarantino's latest epic was honored with two Academy Awards including "Best Original Screenplay" and "Best Supporting Actor" for Christoph Waltz. In addition, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington received NCAAP Image Awards for "Best Supporting Actor" and "Best Supporting Actress", respectively.

To date, the soundtrack has sold over 300K copies worldwide. Meanwhile, the film from Tarantino won the Golden Globe Award "Best Original Screenplay" and "Best Original Screenplay" and "Best Supporting Actor" for Christoph Waltz at the BAFTA Awards. It's nominated for a total of 5 Academy Awards including "Best Picture, "Best Original Screenplay", "Best Supporting Actor" [Waltz], "Best Cinematography", and "Best Sound Editing".

At the box office, the movie galloped right to the top. Upon its Christmas Day release, "DJANGO UNCHAINED" made $15 million dollars and debuted at #2—a record for an R-rated film. Since then, it's become Tarantino's highest grossing and most successful film to date.

Entertainment Weekly featured it on the "Must List", and Rolling Stone wrote, "'DJANGO UNCHAINED' marks the first time Tarantino has collaborated with artists to create original music for his film and soundtrack.
