DMC 2015 to Take Place in Shanghai in May

SHANGHAI, April 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DMC 2015 is scheduled to take place at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from May 25 to 28, 2015.

DMC 2015 will highlight integration, intelligence and automation when it displays applications of Industry 4.0-oriented smart manufacturing in the molding and related sectors. The event will focus on precision processing, smart mold manufacturing and forming technology in a move to showcase advanced manufacturing technologies to China's high-end equipment manufacturers.

Mold manufacturing equipment on display will demonstrate how integration, intelligence and automation can accelerate the transformation of the industry. Display areas for 3D additive manufacturing, molding materials and automation equipment will be correlated in order to provide a complete industry chain from upstream to downstream manufacturing, allowing seamless integration of high technology and traditional industries. Concurrent to DMC 2015, CES Asia will be added to the line-up of events to further provide additional information on the manufacturing process as well as how the final products are used by the end-consumers.

The 60,000 square meters of exhibition space being allocated for the 2015 event makes this year's the biggest DMC to date. The exhibition spans five halls (Hall W1-W5) with W1 reserved for exhibition of dies and molds for the automotive industry; W2 for comprehensive dies and molds; W3 for precision equipment, 3D additive manufacturing, cutting tools, forming equipment and measuring instruments; and W4 and W5 for precision equipment and technologies from foreign exhibitors.

The event is backed by more than 30 local die & mold industry associations and die & mold industrial clusters across China, as well as industrial organizations from both within China and from abroad. More than 40 exhibition groups are expected to be present at DMC 2015.
