GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- dms Management Ltd. (DMS), the largest management firm in the Cayman Islands focused on serving the hedge fund industry, announces the appointment of two new partners to the firm, Roger H. Hanson and Ronan Guilfoyle. Both have served as principals of DMS for a number of years.

A recognized leader and pioneer in the Cayman Islands hedge fund industry, Mr. Hanson has served on the boards of hedge funds for more than 15 years. He has significant experience in a wide range of alternative investments including private equity, SPVs and funds-of-funds.  Mr. Hanson's ability to advise and direct on all areas of fund operations have been key to his storied success over the years.

Previously, Mr. Hanson was the Regional Director (North America & Caribbean) for Fortis Prime Fund Solutions whilst also serving as Managing Director for Fortis' local Fund Services business and General Manager of its Private Banking business unit.  A founding member of the Cayman Islands Fund Administrators Association, he has been heavily involved in shaping the regulation of the fund industry in Cayman.

Mr. Guilfoyle has made significant contributions to DMS during his tenure, with involvement in a number of fundamental areas including client services, business development and operational processes. He advises hedge funds, private equity funds and SPVs worldwide in their formation and ongoing efficient operation. Mr. Guilfoyle is integrally involved in the design, implementation and execution of industry-leading operational processes and efficiencies that have propelled DMS to the forefront of the fund governance industry.  He has led the recruitment and development of the Associate Director team in the Cayman and Ireland offices, in addition to his leadership of dms Corporate Services Ltd., a DMS subsidiary company. Mr. Guilfoyle's superlative approach to client service and team leadership has accelerated his ascent to the top ranks of the industry.

Before joining DMS, Mr. Guilfoyle was Group Manager at Admiral Administration Ltd. and began his career with Ernst & Young, Ireland.
