WCG's xCEL System Measures, Helps Enhance Troops' Reaction, Perception, Skills
ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- White Canvas Group, a technology solutions incubator, announced today that it has been awarded a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense (Combating Terrorism Technology Support Office) to develop a performance enhancement and training program for elite U.S. war fighters. White Canvas Group will integrate its xCEL system with a cutting edge performance enhancement system currently used to train elite athletes, Olympians, and other performers traditionally outside the environs of the U.S. military.
White Canvas Group's xCEL operator performance platform assesses, trains, and measures a myriad of skills for elite U.S. war fighters with an emphasis on performance research and methodologies – allowing people to see clearer, perceive quicker, and react faster. Designed by former operators, and easily integrated into existing operator training programs, xCEL will focus on increasing operator precision performance with technology that is already proven and utilized by the world's best athletes. At an early meeting during project planning, Jon Iadonisi, White Canvas Group founder and former Navy SEAL stated, "Our elite military needs and deserves access to the same caliber technology available to professional athletes. Our system provides just that. We're excited to implement the xCEL system, and provide war fighters with another tool to ensure their skills remain elite."
