Consumers have until July 31 to submit their creative, original egg recipes on the Eggland's Best website (www.egglandsbest.com/yourbestrecipe) for a chance to win cash prizes.

Recipe possibilities that showcase the versatility, freshness and flavor of Eggland's Best eggs are endless, which is why Eggland's Best is encouraging consumers to enter up to two recipes in four different categories: Breakfast, Appetizer, Main Course and Dessert. The best recipe in each category will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and the recipe with the highest overall score will be awarded the $10,000 Grand Prize.

If your recipe has 10 ingredients or fewer, a total prep time that doesn't exceed 15 minutes, no more than seven active cooking steps and three steps can be prepared safely by a child unsupervised, then your recipe may also have the chance to win the "Kid-friendly" award. Entering the "Kid-friendly" award is simple. When you're submitting your original recipe, make sure to check-off the "Kid-friendly" box and your recipe will automatically be considered for the award, which comes with a $1,000 cash prize.

In early October, Eggland's Best will reveal the 20 Finalists of the Eggland's Best "Your Best Recipe" Contest on their website and consumers will have the chance to vote for their favorite recipe until October 31. The recipe with the most votes will receive the "Fan Favorite" award and will receive a $1,000 cash prize. All winners of the 2014 Eggland's Best "Your Best Recipe" Contest will be announced on November 10th.
