Donuts Rolls Out 18 More Domain Names in September as Total Registrations Top Two Million

BELLEVUE, Wash., Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Donuts Inc., the world's largest registry for new generic top-level domains (gTLDs), continues to expand and diversify the Internet's global addressing system in September by making 11 new gTLDs available to the public. In addition to these 11, Donuts will open another seven for early registration by trademark holders.

The company, now entering the ninth month of its new gTLD general availability schedule, is approaching 900,000 end-user registrations and will continue rolling out new domains throughout 2014. By month's end, Donuts will have 154 new gTLDs under management, with 138 open and available to the public. Registrations are available from accredited registrars worldwide.

The global new gTLD program continues to reach new milestones.  As of last month, there were more than two million individual addresses registered in new gTLDs, with registrations in Donuts gTLDs accounting for nearly half.
