NAPLES, Fla., May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples has been awarded the prestigious Connie Award by the DoubleTree by Hilton brand as part of its 2014 Brand Awards program, the results of which were recently announced.
This year marks the 11th year the hotel has won this award, an unprecedented accomplishment in the realm of hotel quality and guest service awards. Additionally, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples also won the Pride Award for the 14th straight year, the Excellence in Hospitality award and the Excellence in Food & Beverage award among all of Hilton's 310+ properties in the Americas.
"All of us at Guest Services are so proud of the team at the DoubleTree – they work with great passion to give our guests an exceptional experience, and it's wonderful to see them recognized in such a meaningful way for their efforts," said Gerry Gabrys, CEO of Guest Services, Inc., the company that owns and manages the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples. "Since 2001, this particular DoubleTree has won 69 awards total from both Hilton and Guest Services – they truly are the best of the best."
Each year, DoubleTree by Hilton recognizes hotels that are the best of the brand. The Connie Award, which is presented to the #1 overall hotel property, is based on three key components: Brand Consistency, Guest Loyalty and DoubleTree by Hilton Brand Promise. The DoubleTree by Hilton Naples has won this award 11 times since 2001 and every consecutive year since 2009. The award, which is a bust of Hilton founder Conrad Hilton, is prominently displayed in the hotel lobby in a specially designed awards cabinet.
Jennifer Robbins-Wallace, General Manager of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples, explained that the reason for the continued success of the property could be attributed to the team at the property.
"Our team loves what they do," she said. "It makes a world of difference. The keys are empowerment and engagement: those are the things that make our team work. The comments we hear time and time again, is that the staff is so happy, everyone's so engaged, everybody's so pleasant. At the end of the day, that's it. You walk into this building and you feel it. It's very much our culture."
