FEDERAL WAY, Wash., July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DRC International, a Seattle-based technical procurement and distribution company for oil, gas, and construction companies abroad, today announced Doug Denney as their new President. Mr. Denney has extensive experience in improving the operational and financial performance of many companies. He has structured and re-engineered many critical business processes to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and the utilization of scarce resources. His efforts have resulted in revenue growth, increased margins and improved cash flow.
Mr. Denney joins DRC with over 25 years of experience. He has raised over $55M for start up companies and conducted several turnarounds in the high tech, life science and consumer product industries. Prior to DRC, Mr. Denney was Senior Vice President of Global Operations and Finance at SOL REPUBLIC. He also served as CFO and Senior Vice President at PML Microbiologicals, where he executed the sale of the company and delivered over two times the return for investors.
Mr. Denney has had direct responsibility for managing supply chain, production, logistics, and customer service. He has also managed finance, accounting, human resources, IT, legal, business development, sales, and marketing. He received his MBA and JD from Willamette University, where he studied Business Law, Finance and Accounting. Mr. Denney is an active member of the Oregon bar.
Mr. Denney strengthens DRC's existing leadership team, who collectively has over 50 years experience in international supply, procurement, and distribution. Together with CEO Steven Crabtree, Mr. Denney will increase opportunities in new markets, as well as augment DRC International's existing partnerships globally.
