HUNTERSVILLE, NC, Sept. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire/ - Dr. Briggs Cook is the Founder and Director of Pure Facial Surgery & Medspa in Huntersville, NC. After graduating summa cum laude with a BA in chemistry from Duke University in 1989, Dr. Cook obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed both a residency in the Department of Ophthalmology and an internship at the esteemed Mayo Clinic.
He gained working experience at the Charlotte Ophthalmology Center for Sight and Facial Plastic Surgery and the Skin Center of North Carolina. In 2012, Dr. Briggs Cook founded his practice, the Pure Facial Surgery & Medspa and shortly after became one of the first physicians in the Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Hunterville areas that provided the QuickLift® Face Lift.
Dr. Briggs Cook is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In August 2018, Pure Facial Plastic Surgery earned an American Association for the Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) accreditation for patient safety.
