Dr. Christopher Dennis of ValueOptions® Appointed to NCQA Standards Committee
NORFOLK, Va., June 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ValueOptions® Chief Medical Officer, Commercial Division and Senior Vice President, Regional Medical Director, Christopher Dennis, MD, MBA, has been appointed to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Standards Committee.
NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare quality through organizational accreditation and certification. NCQA's accreditation is considered the industry's gold standard and helps health plans demonstrate their commitment to quality and accountability. The Standards Committee supports the development of new and revised accreditation standards for Managed Behavioral Healthcare Organizations (MBHOs), health plans and others, entities.
