Dr. S. Vincent Grasso Joins ADM Tronics as Chief Medical Information Officer

NORTHVALE, N.J., Oct. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ADM Tronics Unlimited, Inc. (OTCQB: ADMT) has announced that S. Vincent Grasso, DO, MSIS, MBA has joined the company as Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO).

Dr. Grasso is a surgeon, software architect/informaticist and business strategist with over 20 years of delivering professional services within the international healthcare marketplace. In addition to extensive clinical and information technology expertise, his business development acumen spans startup to commercialization, establishment of strategic alliances, distribution channel partnerships and co-branding initiatives. He has delivered value to a wide range of domestic and international firms as a senior advisor, consultant, board member, and C-Suite officer, from startups to Fortune 100 firms, within the private and public domains.  A common theme of his activities involves a multi-domain integrative approach (clinical/IT/business) to healthcare delivery reengineering, especially apropos for the 2015 - 2020 global healthcare marketplace.    

Dr. Grasso received his BA from St. Peter's University, osteopathic medical degree from Des Moines University and completed his general surgical residency in the Mount Sinai School of Medicine Manhattan Program.  His Post Doctoral studies included a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at Yale University and healthcare information technology R&D as a NASA Project Manager with the NASA Yale University Commercial Space Center for Medical Informatics and Technology Applications (CSCMITA).  In addition, he possesses an MSIS from New Jersey Institute of Technology and MBA from University of Massachusetts Amherst.  Dr. Grasso's long standing involvement with project management and the agile framework includes his holding Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Lean Six Sigma credentials.
