Dr. Vincent Meador joins Wax-it Histology Services as lead pathologist
VANCOUVER, Sept. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Wax-it Histology Services, a leading Vancouver-based contract research organization that specializes in histopathology and immunohistochemistry solutions, is pleased to welcome Dr. Vincent Meador to replace Dr. Michael Tomlinson as the lead pathologist. Dr. Tomlinson is stepping down from the position after 6 years of service.
Dr. Meador has been a veterinary pathologist since 1985. He has 25 years of experience working in top tier global pharmaceutical companies and CROs, and has held a number of prominent positions over the years, including Director, Toxicology and Pathology for Eli Lilly, Executive Director, Toxicology for Amgen, and VP and Global Head, Pathology for Covance. He also has 7 years of experience as a research pathologist in evaluating animal diseases. Since April 2016, Dr. Meador has become the business owner of Pacific Tox Path, LLC: a Washington based Consultation and Contract Company for preclinical drug development.
