DraftKings Expands Soccer Offering

BOSTON, June 2, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Proving once again that it is the go-to Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform for fans of the "Beautiful Game," DraftKings Inc., one of the world's leading DFS platforms, today announced the introduction of two new tournaments to its soccer product, extending its global offering this summer with games based on the UEFA European Championships (Euro 2016) and Copa America.

Soccer fans can now reserve a place in UEFA Euro 2016 contests, which commences June 10, immediately offering them a chance to compete for once in a lifetime experiences and prizes. The headliner $3 contests 'Kickoff Special' offers players a chance to test their skills during the tournaments.

DraftKings is also proud to offer contests for this year's Copa America tournament that is being held in the US, further broadening its appeal to Central and South American football fans.

For the launch of their 'Summer of Soccer' contests, DraftKings are also implementing product changes to the platform to further enhance the user experience. One of the main product feature changes is that users will now draft an eight-man rooster consisting of a goalkeeper, two defenders, two midfielders, two forwards and one utility player adding more engagement to the daily fantasy game.
