Drinks Americas Expands KAH® Tequila Sales to Asia Pacific

WILTON, Conn., March 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd., ("Drinks") (OTCBB: DKAM), a leading developer and marketer of beverage products, announced today that it has commenced sales to the markets of Australia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Micronesia, Guam, Taiwan, Australia and New Zealand for its award winning KAH^® Tequila.

The first container of KAH^® Tequila to Asia Pacific valued at over $185,000 has sold and has been shipped, and a second container has been placed on order.  Drinks Americas recently expanded the sales of its products to Asia Pacific through Tequila Total / Liberty Lighthouse Group, LLC. The entire first container of Drinks Americas award winning KAH^® Tequila has been presold to these Asia Pacific markets.

In its most recent press release dated March 13, 2012, Drinks Americas announced that it had achieved profitability for the third quarter of 2012. 

KAH^® Tequila recently received awards at The Ultimate Spirits Challenge held in New York City, as KAH^® Tequila Anejo received a score of 93, an "Excellent, Highly Recommended" accolade, and KAH^® Tequila Reposado 110 Proof scored 90, also with an accolade of "Excellent, Highly Recommended". KAH^® Tequila previously was voted "Best of the Best" by Tequila.net, received multiple awards for taste in all styles at the Spirits International Prestige Competition with KAH^® EXTRA ANEJO receiving the Platinum Award for Best in Class, and the KAH^® TEQUILA SERIES received Platinum Award for Best in Class for Package Design. In addition to those awards, The Spirits of Mexico Tasting Competition judged KAH^® Tequila Best of Category with a Gold Medal for KAH^® Anejo, a Gold Medal for KAH^® Blanco and a Bronze Medal KAH^® Reposado 110 Proof.
