drupe mobile, the company behind the app that lets users intuitively interact with any of their contacts with one simple swipe, is officially announcing that it has raised $3 million in funding from Canaan Partners Israel and Sweet Capital, founded by the founders of King Digital Entertainment (Candy Crush).

The drupe app, launched initially in 2015, has also seen tremendous growth, doubling its active user base every month in the last quarter. The app was well adopted by millions of users in the Android community, and has seen an exceptional rating of 4.6/5 stars in Google Play.

While more than 60 percent of time spent on our phones is used to interact with people, contacting our friends via various apps is still far from being intuitive. That is where drupe comes in. The people-centric app works as an overlay layer focused on the user's contacts, rather than apps.
