Following their previous successful releases, DSQ Electric decided to take their next album in a new direction. Collaborating with the esteemed Irving Symphony Orchestra, they effortlessly achieved an entirely different sound and feel, one that fuses many different genres and audiences. In the words of Ion Zanca, founder and violist of the group, "The concept behind our concerts is an evolution of the string quartet." And that is exactly what this new release accomplishes. Standouts of the first half include Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla's 'Oblivion' and Sting's timeless 'Englishman in New York', both backed with symphonic arrangements.
While introducing new originals and arrangements on this album, they also brought back previously released songs such as "Drops of Jewels," the group's first ever original, but this time with a complete orchestral arrangement. Zanca recounts the process and significance of this: "I wrote this first original for my son Julian, who is now four. It has been such a beautiful parallel to see this song grow and transform, just as my son is growing and coming into his own."

In line with their tagline, a great example of two completely different worlds colliding would be their arrangement of the Sibelius Violin Concerto and 'Kashmir' by Led Zeppelin. The track starts out with a seemingly normal rendition of the incredible violin concerto, but soon audiences realize that this is not the case. An exhilarating and virtuosic violin solo leads into an exciting and dramatic rendition of 'Kashmir', highlighting the group's rock capabilities. Zanca comments that, "Our idea is that music is music. If we can find a way to bridge that gap where people from both sides can come to a concert, that's all we can ask for."
