DSSI Set to Purchase Plant Services for Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 22, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, DSSI, LLC, a leading provider of Source to Pay services to industrial companies, announced an expanded relationship with Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment, a global strategic and business alliance of the construction equipment businesses of Doosan Infracore Co., Ltd and its affiliates.  DSSI will now be responsible for purchasing plant services including, but not limited to building, electrical, engineering, equipment and maintenance, HVAC, janitorial, paint, plumbing and robotics.  

This announcement comes after a successful year of launching a Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) Source to Pay program for Doosan in North America in which Doosan realized significant item savings while gaining visibility and control over indirect spend. The program has leveraged DSSI's end-to-end purchasing service capabilities including sourcing and category management, Purchase to Pay transaction processing and on-site support services including storeroom management.  DSSI's enterprise Source to Pay eProcurement system, Epic™, provides a common platform across all locations allowing Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment to manage spend across all categories.
