DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse Will Donate a total of $110,000 to Nonprofits Chosen by Shoe Lovers

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DSW Inc. (NYSE: DSW), the leading branded footwear and accessories retailer, is giving back to the community once again through its Shoe Lovers Care Leave Your Mark program. More than 11,000 DSW associates nationwide had the chance to nominate a nonprofit dear to their hearts. After internally reviewing applications, DSW has selected 8 finalists: Amethyst, Inc., CHA Animal Shelter, Donate Life America, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, National Parkinson Foundation, Northern Illinois Food Bank, Soles4Souls, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. All are eligible to vote today through November 25 through www.ShoeLoversCare.com. The organization ultimately with the most votes will be awarded a $75,000 donation. On top of that $75,000, DSW will donate $5,000 to each of the seven remaining non-profits.

Shoe Lovers can visit ShoeLoversCare.com today to learn more about the selected nonprofits and why each DSW associate nominated these deserving organizations. They can then vote for their favorite nonprofit, once per day, through November 25 at 11:59 p.m. ET. Results of the Shoe Lovers Care Leave Your Mark program will be announced December 26.
