DTC Energy Group Announces New Initiative to Acquire Oil and Gas Reserves

DENVER, Jan. 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DTC Energy Group, Inc. ("The Company") today announced its board of directors has approved an initiative for the Company to pursue asset acquisitions with the intent of establishing a portfolio of operated or non-operated oil and gas projects.  The Company also announced it has engaged the services of Barchan Advisory Services Ltd. to advise DTC in the areas of asset selection, capital finance and operations. 

DTC's operating plan calls for the Company to participate in asset transactions which position DTC to begin developing a portfolio of energy reserves. Direct management of a company-owned position will also capitalize on DTC's experience and expertise in successfully developing energy reserves. This initiative is initially focused on producing properties and development opportunities located in mature U.S. onshore basins.
