SOUTH PLAINFIELD, N.J., Nov. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Financial Technologies Solutions (FTS), a leading technology provider that streamlines financial securities back-office workflows, today announced that it has signed with The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), the premier post-trade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry, to enable its users to access DTCC corporate actions data.

Under the data redistribution agreement, FTS' Corporate Actions Announcement and Processing System (CAAPS) and CONNECTS platforms will provide direct access to robust corporate actions data sourced from DTCC's Announcement Data Service, thereby streamlining and simplifying buy-side, sell-side and custodian bank access to critical corporate actions information and enabling an end-to-end corporate actions data workflow.

DTCC's Announcement Data Service provides near real-time announcements on more than 1.3 million active securities. The service provides notifications on distributions, factors, redemptions and reorganizations leveraging the ISO 20022 message standard, which helps improve operational efficiency and reduces errors in processing critical events. DTCC works with its clients and the industry as a whole to create a mature and efficient flow of information.
