ENCINITAS, Calif., Oct. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- California-headquartered environmental consulting firm Dudek announced today it has opened a new Pasadena office to serve the Los Angeles metropolitan region. It is the ninth office in the state for Dudek, a 300-person, multidisciplined firm specializing in California environmental and natural resources management projects.
The office is led by long-time Los Angeles-based consultants Eric Wilson and Ruta K. Thomas.

Mr. Wilson and Ms. Thomas have led dozens of high-profile projects for a variety of municipal and private clients. They have managed on-call environmental contracts with agencies throughout the region, including the State of California, Los Angeles County, the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Unified School District, and the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
Mr. Wilson, a LEED AP certified professional, joins Dudek from AECOM where he led a large multidisciplinary practice across Southern California. Ms. Thomas, a registered environmental property assessor (REPA), joins Dudek from Atkins, where she also led a regional team of environmental planners and scientists.
