Toronto Mall Launches Fashion Show Flash Mob & Seeks Out Toronto's Most Stylish
TORONTO, Oct. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Dufferin Mall dominated David Pecaut Square with a two-day initiative supported by the start of the affordable fashion authority's STYLE CAPTURED campaign. On October 22 and 23, Dufferin Mall treated Torontonians to a Fashion Show Flash Mob featuring a flurry of impromptu fashion shows highlighting runway styles at accessible prices. Models walked a public runway down King Street and around David Pecaut Square, showcasing the latest trends for Fall/Winter 2014 from Dufferin Mall's top fashion retailers, including: H&M, Winners, Marshalls, Dynamite, Aldo and Forever 21.
Adding to the excitement, Dufferin Mall Style Scouts approached chic Torontonians to be featured in the centre's round-up of the "Most Stylish" at Toronto Fashion Week. In addition to receiving a Dufferin Mall gift card, trendsetters were photographed. A mural featuring a compilation of Toronto's Most Stylish will be on display in the mall as of November 10.

"We literally took over the streets of Toronto, positioning ourselves at the centre of the fashion world and were excited to present runway-style shows that highlighted the affordable offerings we have at Dufferin Mall."
Dufferin Mall's presence in downtown Toronto was vast this past week. In addition to the mall's Fashion Show Flash Mob and Style Scout efforts, Dufferin Mall timed the launch of its new advertising campaign—featured in out-of-home, print, digital and social media—to coincide with Toronto's premier Fashion Showcase. The mall's media presence was further complemented by a strategic partnership with well-known fashion blogger Style Mogul.
