Dukas Public Relations Promotes Dubuss, Hires Dressler

NEW YORK, April 30, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dukas Public Relations (DPR)—a fast-growing public relations firm specializing in the finance, asset management and technology industries—announced today the promotion of Mary Kate Dubuss to senior account supervisor, and the hiring of Stephanie Dressler as an account supervisor. The moves follow strong year-over-year growth and the addition of several high-profile clients across all of the firm's key practice areas.

In her new role, Ms. Dubuss will be responsible for helping lead the firm's asset management practice group, which consists of large and emerging hedge fund managers, ETF and mutual fund companies.  She has been at DPR for more than two years, most recently as an account supervisor, responsible for day-to-day client and media relations activities for several of the firm's marquis asset management accounts, including BlueMountain Capital Management and Old Mutual Asset Management.

Previously, Dubuss worked in the institutional marketing group at AllianceBernstein and also practiced IR at Brainerd Communicators. She holds a B.S. in journalism from Boston University.

She joins DPR from strategic communications consultancy, Montieth and Company, where she was a senior associate. Prior to Montieth, Dressler served in marketing communications roles at alternative investment management firm, Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors; and investment research firm, International Strategy and Investment. Ms. Dressler earned her B.A. in political science from the University of Central Florida, and will graduate from NYU with an M.S. in corporate communications and public relations in August.
