Duncan-Williams Expands Public Finance Footprint Into New York

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Duncan-Williams, Inc. (DWI) announces the expansion of their Public Finance footprint into New York.

Duncan-Williams, a Memphis, TN-based full-service investment banking firm, announces that Carlos Desmaras and Dominick Setari have joined its Public Finance division to increase its presence in New York. Desmaras, a 20-year financial veteran, has joined DWI as Managing Director. Most recently, Desmaras was responsible for institutional sales and trading, project finance, financial advisory and public finance banking for East Coast based issuers. Setari, a 15-year financial veteran, also joins DWI as Director of its New York-based Public Finance division. Prior to joining DWI, Setari served as financial advisor and investment banker to a variety of public sector clients and as a transportation finance professional.

The two will work under Wayne Breunig, Senior Vice President, Public Finance. "The Public Finance Department is pleased to welcome Carlos and Dominick into the Duncan-Williams family. Their skills and experience will enable them to 'hit the ground running' and build effectively on our existing municipal banking and underwriting team," noted Breunig.
