Duncan-Williams, Inc. Expands Institutional Sales Footprint: Adds New Branch in Atlanta, GA
MEMPHIS, Tenn., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- In keeping with its company-wide expansion plans, Duncan-Williams, Inc. announced today that it has added a new office in Atlanta, Georgia. "We are excited to expand our investment banking presence across the Southeast," says Duncan F. Williams, President of Duncan-Williams, Inc. "We know that the Atlanta market will play an integral role in helping us achieve our long-term strategic growth initiative."
Tom Bryan, a 35-year veteran of the financial industry, will join Duncan-Williams as a Senior Vice President in the Debt Capital Markets division and lead the expansion of the Atlanta office. He will work under the direction of Jack Schlifer, Managing Director and National Sales Manager, who is located at the home office in Memphis, TN. "We're excited that Tom has joined the Duncan-Williams team as a senior member of our Institutional Sales force," says Mr. Schlifer. "His background and experience will serve him well in delivering value-added products to our clients."
Tom most recently was a consultant in the banking industry where he advised on regulatory and capital matters. Tom's experience also includes 18 years at Silverton Bank in Atlanta, where he began as a Senior Vice President, and spent his last five years with Silverton Bank as the President, CEO, Board Member, and Executive Committee Chairman.
Duncan-Williams' goal is for the Atlanta office to become a staple branch for the company, and for Tom to be able to build the branch into a full-service investment banking office.
