Duravant Acquires Mespack, Global Technology Leader in Flexible Packaging Machinery
Engineered equipment leader Duravant expands global footprint in packaging segment with acquisition of Europe-based Mespack.
DOWNERS GROVE, Ill., June 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Duravant, a global engineered equipment manufacturer serving the food processing, packaging and material handling sectors, announced today it has acquired Mespack, the Barcelona, Spain-based manufacturer of flexible packaging equipment specializing in horizontal form-fill-seal technologies for flexible sachet, pouch and stick packs. This is Duravant's second acquisition in the packaging sector within 30 days and greatly enhances their design, manufacturing and aftermarket service capabilities on a global scale.
