DVDFab 8.1.8.0 Beta released with important fixes.

DVDFab 8.1.8.0 Beta out on April 28

Fengtao Software, on April 28, released this updated build of all-in-one software package for multimedia solutions, but for only Windows platform this time, with Mac edition still in 8.1.7.8 official status. This newest Windows version came out with some very important fixes.

First and foremost, developers fixed an annoying bug which was believed to have affected hundreds of users. From users' responses, the burning engines were not able to be implemented if there was any option expired. For example, if DVDFab DVD Copy expired, but Blu-ray Copy did not, then the burning engine could not be used any longer. In this latest beta version, this problem was gone. Note that to reset the burning engine, users should go to Common Settings panel->DVD&Blu-ray->Write->Burning engine. Currently, four options are available: DVDFab burning engine, VSO burning engine, Nero burning ROM and, Image Burn. 

Furthermore, a wrong expired warning dialog in DVD Copy option of DVDFab Gold 3.X was cured. Based on users' feedback, developers reproduced this issue on spot. When registering DVDFab with a Gold key and then tried to do a DVD Copy, a warning window appeared, stating that DVD Copy was about to expire in one day, and users should purchase a new key. The released new beta 8.1.8.0 fixed this wrong warning which should not come up. As a reminder, DVDFab Gold 3.X was a lifetime version of DVDFab in early history, dated back to the year around 2005 or so. The counterpart of this lifetime version is now the renamed DVD Copy, but with only four copy modes: "Full disc", "Main movie", "Split" and "Write data".

Next, in DVD Ripper option, developers corrected an issue of "No choice of 5.1 multi-channels when using iPad.h264.multichannel profile", and a crash problem when clicking "Conversion Settings" button in "Task Queue" window in certain cases.
