DWR Contract Opens Showroom in the Boston Design Center

A first for the commercial division of modern furniture retailer Design Within Reach

STAMFORD, Conn., July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DWR Contract (DWRC), a division of modern furniture retailer Design Within Reach, today announces the opening of its first contract showroom in the country. The space, in the Boston Design Center (BDC), will serve commercial and hospitality clients in New England and marks an increased market presence for the company's fast-growing business segment.

Founded in 2010, DWR Contract now has 14 sales representatives serving contract and hospitality clients in every region of the United States.

The new showroom is located on the seventh floor in Suite 732 and joins a diverse group of more than 60 companies in the BDC, ranging from fabric and leather vendors to tile and furniture dealers.

Architects, designers and specifiers visiting the showroom will enjoy access to a single comprehensive source for dining, bar and lounge seating, outdoor furniture and more – much of which is quick-ship – and the ability to conveniently sample products for new projects and client presentations.

Brands represented in the new showroom include Tacchini, Softline, Stellar Works, Loll Designs, Muuto and Fritz Hansen. Exclusive products developed by DWR will also be shown.

DWR continues its partnership with New York-based architecture firm D Form A (DFA) to bring the DWRC Showroom to life, as well as enlisting the help of Light Studio LA in creating dramatic lighting design throughout the space.
