Dylan Connor Hosts Syria Relief Concert in NYC; Fundraising Single 'Feza Feza' Rapidly Reaching Thousands on Youtube

NEW YORK, Jan. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Dylan Connor is a Connecticut-based singer, songwriter, Latin teacher, devoted husband and father. His family - including his uncle, cult film maker Robert Downey and his cousin, actor Robert Downey Jr. - have influenced, encouraged and inspired Dylan deeply, leading him on many musical adventures in Hollywood and abroad.

Dylan (whose wife is Syrian) is the first and only American artist to be writing and singing songs for Syria. His protest song 'Feza Feza' (which means 'Help Help') was recorded and shot in the space of 24 hours, after Dylan heard a Syrian activist interviewed on CNN say "When I chant freedom, I can hear my voice for the first time."

Dylan sings and speaks in Arabic in the Youtube video for 'Feza Feza', which rapidly garnered over 6,000 hits on Youtube and hundreds of comments from Syrians and others around the world.

Soon in NYC, he will be bringing together an unprecedented lineup of American and Syrian musicians to unite for the cause of freedom and human dignity. This concert will be a chance for concerned and aware Americans to meet Arab Americans and experience each other's culture and music.

This concert is aimed at collecting and channeling funds directly to the source - the wounded protesters, scores of whom are gunned down every day in Syria by their own government. Those who attend the event can put their donation towards purchasing HemCon Bandages for victims.
