Dynamic Applications Product Purchased by University in Belgium to Study Effects of Groundwater Contamination
NEW YORK, August 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
Dynamic Applications Corp. (OTCBB: DYAP), a distributor of advanced underground environmental control systems, announced today that the Sensoil Vadose Monitoring System (VMS), represented by Dynamic Applications, has been purchased and installed by the University of Liege in Belgium, as part of a program that will study the geological effects of groundwater contamination.
The system will be used to study the effects of contaminants on the unsaturated Vadose Zone, underground soil that sits below a potential contaminant, and above a source of underground fresh water. Results of the study will be recorded by Sensoil's remote data analysis system.
Supervision of the installation was performed by Sensoil's Chief Scientist, Dr. Ofer Dahan during Q2 2013. The system is being utilized by the university's Environmental Department of Geology and Hydrogeolgy.
"We are pleased that the educational and environmental communities are taking an advanced look at the ways in which chemical pollutants can affect nearby groundwater, and are taking notice of Sensoil technology's ability to identify the first signs of soil contamination in real-time-a step that can prevent groundwater from being compromised," said Dr. Oded Sagee, Co-founder and International Sales Manager of Sensoil Technologies.
"Our patented Sensoil Vadose Monitor System has numerous applications, that help prevent widespread environmental damage and provide customers with real-time changes in ground contaminant conditions that can prevent environmental disasters and save industrial customers millions of dollars," Sagee added.
