LOS ALTOS, Calif., Sept. 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- E-Waste Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: EWSI, the "Company"), an electronic waste recycling and reverse logistics services firm, is pleased to provide an update on several of its growth initiatives as it attends the E-Scrap Conference this week in Dallas Texas. The conference is the premier e-scrap recycling event of North America attracting more than 1,000 attendees from over a dozen countries and over 100 exhibitors.

While at the conference, executives from the Company, including CEO Martin Neilson, and the Company's investment banker, Oracle Capital, will be meeting with leading private equity investors as part of its capital formation agenda, as well as with current and prospective e-waste industry partners and acquisition targets.

"The growth opportunities in the e-waste industry continue to validate our business model and we are keenly focused on the fact that the market is fertile for an industry leader.  It remains our goal to create a strategically-built, technology-strong global service provider in the rapidly expanding e-waste industry," stated Neilson.

E-Waste Systems, Inc. is also pleased to announce today that it has entered into preliminary teaming agreements with industry firms in Texas, Ohio and Southern California for the purposes of developing, expanding and supporting each company's respective e-waste client base as well as jointly pursuing additional customer engagements.  These potential additions complement the Company's previously announced formal teaming agreements with Zak Enterprises, San Francisco CA; and CR Electronics, NH.

The teaming agreements allow E-Waste Systems to work with each entity to develop corporate and consumer relationships and to perform e-waste management and asset recovery services in geographical locations in which one does not presently operate, but where the operations of the other may exist.  These services shall be deployed under the highest industry and ethical standards and include, but are not limited to:

  • Electronics Repair and Refurbishing
  • Demanufacturing and Component Harvesting
  • Electronics Recycling and Materials Recovery
  • Secure Data Destruction
  • Logistics Management
  • Compliance Reporting and Certification
  • Electronics End-of-Life Support and Advisory Services

"The executive teams at E-Waste Systems and our teaming partners have been jointly working on several customer projects recently and we felt it would present a much stronger value proposition if we entered into a more formal relationship with each outstanding organization," stated Martin Nielson, CEO of E-Waste Systems, Inc.

E-Waste Systems, Inc. recently completed the relocation of their Ohio offices. The new facility supports the Company's growth objectives by offering expansion options up to 100,000 square feet and access to up to 14 docks for shipping and receiving.  In addition, the new facility allows for significantly lower rental charges.

The Company has also updated their web site located at www.ewastesystems.com with additional improvements coming including a more robust and content-rich investor relations section, integrated multi-media and enhanced content regarding the e-waste industry and the Company's services.
