Report Highlights:
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): The shares of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) began the trading session with a price of US$118.50. When day-trade ended, the stock price earned 0.02% to US$118.65 by the end of last trading session with 51.90 million shares exchanged hands, compared to daily average volume of 57.79 million. Three-quarters of the companies in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index are buying back shares, and the total is hitting levels that haven't been reached since 2007. Bigger purchases are generally thought to be better, in dollars and percent, with 5% generally the percentage that's seen as meaningful. Apple's buyback program is for 6.8% of its shares outstanding. Apple's 21.4 million shipments declined 18% annually and increased 74% sequentially due to seasonality. The iPhone 6 products are putting pressure on the iPad Mini, and the continued success of the Mac could be inhibiting some iPad Air 2 growth. The industry of Electronic Equipment slid about 0.47%, and Apple's competitor BlackBerry fell about 1.39% to the price of US$9.93. Do you think Apple will go on? Do you think now is a good time to buy the stock? Investors can check the AAPL earnings forecast report here.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. (NYSE:BABA): The shares of Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) began the trading session with a price of US$97.65. When day-trade ended, the stock price earned 0.53% to US$90.61 by the end of last trading session with 13.51 million shares exchanged hands, compared to daily average volume of 16.98 million. Alibaba founder Jack Ma announced that Alibaba's financial affiliate Ant Financial will not be going public anytime soon, which squashed the rumors that Ant Financial was looking toward a 2016 initial public offering. Ant Financial is more than just a clone of eBay's PayPal -- it is a one-stop shop for money needs for many Chinese consumers. Ant Financial is valued at $50 billion and is first looking to secure private funding before going public. If Ant Financial does go public, Alibaba takes home up to 37.5% of pretax earnings. The industry of Specialty Retail, Other rose about 0.39%, and Alibaba's competitor Amazon fell about 0.25% to the price of US$363.55. Do you think Alibaba will go on? Stratasys, Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS): The shares of Stratasys (NASDAQ:SSYS) began the trading session with a price of US$57.00. When day-trade ended, the stock price plunged 28.37% to US$57.36 by the end of last trading session with 23.29 million shares exchanged hands, compared to daily average volume of 1.28 million. The 3-D printer company, which issued preliminary fourth-quarter results after the market close Monday, warned its 2014 revenue and earnings would be less than its previous guidance. Additionally, it noted 2015 is not looking much better and lowered that forecast, as well. Apparently the company's MakerBot acquisition in 2013 has resulted in a $100 million to $110 million fourth-quarter writedown this past year of some of its business. Stratasys now faces sales and reorder rates that are less predictable. While HP's 3-D printer won't be available until 2016, it's casting a shadow over the rest of the group. The industry of Computer Peripherals declined about 7.91%, and Stratasys's competitor 3D Systems lost about 5.39% to the price of US$28.62. Do you think Stratasys will go on? Do you think now is a good time to buy the stock? Investors can check the SSYS earnings forecast report here.
