Eastern Washington University Selects NuPark To Manage Parking Operations
Eastern Washington University, contracts with NuPark to automate parking management and enforcement for the university
CHENEY, Wash., Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NuPark, the leading provider of next generation parking management solutions, announced that they will provide automated parking management and enforcement for Eastern Washington University (EWU). By using NuPark's cloud-based Parking Management System, EWU will now be able to provide the campus with more efficient and customer centric parking options.
Eastern Washington University is located approximately 20 miles west of Spokane. EWU will use NuPark's open, web-based smart parking management system to help automate their enforcement and permitting operations. The system includes license plate recognition (LPR) technology; real-time data access and syncing; and options for electronic permitting, payments, citations, and appeals.
EWU was challenged with operational inefficiencies of the physical hang-tag parking permit system it used. NuPark's system will enable EWU to issue virtual permits and verify parking permissions, enforce and issue citations in real time, and seamlessly integrate with existing meters, mobile payments and infrastructure while using license plate recognition technology.
