By digitizing its extensive and dynamic product catalog on the PowerSource app for iPad, Eaton's goal is to empower reps with always current and engaging content, such as 3-D parts modeling, promotional and training videos, and pricing configurations to help them sell smarter – and get a competitive edge.  Built for content consumption, the app is different from a website in that it takes advantage of the iPad's unique strengths including easy portability, portrait and landscape viewing modes, and multi-paned touch navigation.  User adoption is not an issue compared to other PC or Web solutions due to the iPad's popularity and cachet.

The app is designed for use anytime, anywhere.  Approximately 10GB of data and files are pushed to the device weekly from the Antenna cloud and stored so that each rep can quickly access the most current information whether online or offline.  Some features such as email, GPS integration, and app synching require a connection (Wi-Fi or 3G).
