BOSTON, Sept. 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Eaton Vance Investment Counsel (EVIC), a subsidiary of Eaton Vance Corp., announced today the appointments of Lawrence T. Gingrow, III, who joined as Vice President and Director of Wealth Planning in May, and Matthew S. Morse, CFA, who joined as Vice President and Director of Equity Strategy in July.

Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Mr. Gingrow served as Director at PRW Wealth Management and as Vice President at The Coyle Company, a generational wealth transfer planning firm. Before entering the wealth management field, he spent eight years as an attorney, most recently at Pierce Atwood, where he designed estate planning strategies for high-net-worth clients.
Mr. Gingrow earned a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law and a BA from the University of New Hampshire Honors Program. He is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Boston Estate Planning Council, the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and the Maine Estate Planning Council. In his position at EVIC, Mr. Gingrow is not practicing law or providing legal advice to clients of EVIC.
Before joining EVIC, Mr. Morse served as Chief Investment Officer of Baldwin Brothers and as Director of U.S. Equities at Crestwood Advisors LLC where he developed and managed the firm's U.S. equity investment process and focused equity strategy. Earlier, Mr. Morse worked at Capital Group where he covered consumer, information technology, and financial companies for the Global Institutional Group.
Mr. Morse graduated from the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Accounting. He is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, a CFA charterholder and passed the Uniform Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam.
