Expert Advice, Patient Solutions #DermCareForAll
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Feb. 13, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Pierre Fabre Laboratories, the world's second-largest dermo-cosmetics company is committed to improving the quality of life of those with sensitive skin disorders by making Eau Thermale Avene's scientific education and skincare widely available. To achieve this, they will focus on advancing skin care solutions by deepening consumer understanding, forging strong partnerships with skin care experts, and strategically expanding product distribution to provide access for all.
Avène's ability to deliver effective skincare solutions for sensitive skin is rooted in its French pharmaceutical heritage. Developed in France, the brand employs a multidisciplinary scientific approach by collaborating with researchers and dermatologists to study skin pathologies. This research yields patented active ingredients with proven results which have improved skin disorders for patients globally. And now, the brand is taking its commitment to sensitive skin to the next level by reinforcing its commitment to consumers with authenticity and impact.
Avène has selected a network of board-certified dermatologists as their Dermfluencer Council. This renowned group of dermatologists will share their expert advice at key retail locations, breaking down complex science into actionable everyday tips that demystify skincare for every consumer.
"Through the Dermfluencer Council, Avène is reinforcing its mission to improve skin health by ensuring consumers have direct access to expert skincare advice and products —something that is crucial for navigating today's complex skincare landscape," said Lisa Morris, President and CEO of Pierre Fabre USA.
Meet the Dermfluencers
The inaugural Dermfluencer Council includes 4 distinguished dermatologists, each serving as trusted retail partners for consumer education:
- Dr. Jarett Casale, DO, FAAD: A board-certified dermatologist and Mohs Surgery Fellow who is passionate about skin health and well-being, representing Avène at Walgreens.
- Dr. Jenny Liu, MD, FAAD: A board-certified dermatologist specializing in ethnic dermatology and medical education, representing Avène at CVS.
- Dr. Neera Nathan, MD, MSHS: A board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon, representing Avène at Target.
- Dr. Lindsey Zubritsky, MD, FAAD: A board-certified dermatologist with expertise in pediatric and cosmetic dermatology representing Avène at Ulta Beauty. She partnered with the brand for their first retail collaboration at Ulta Beauty last year and will continue representing Avène.
As an addition to Avène's extensive retail distribution, the brand is launching its products in 1,388 Target stores across the United States—making their science-backed skincare solutions more accessible than ever before. This strategic retailer expansion significantly broadens the brand's reach and accessibility for guests with sensitive skin. "When you're dealing with a sensitive skin concern, finding the right products quickly can make all the difference. As our trusted dermatologist partners continue to help consumers navigate skincare solutions, we're committed to ensuring that Avène the #1 French Pharmacy derm-skincare brand is readily available across the United States," said Lisa Morris, President and CEO of Pierre Fabre USA.
This commitment to accessibility is further strengthened by Avène's close partnerships with healthcare professionals. One such partnership is with Aire Health, a leading dermatologist platform co-founded by Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali and Dr. Muneeb Shah. Avène is teaming up with AIRE to make sure that over 3,200 residents and dermatologists in their network have access to the brand's scientific education, clinical information and products. "We are thankful to partner with Avène, a derm-favorite brand rooted in science and innovation. It will be a benefit for both our dermatology colleagues and more importantly, our patients," said Dr. Dhaval Bhanusali.
These dermatologist collaborations and the Target retailer expansion are at the forefront of Avène's commitment to provide #DermCareForAll—and it's just the beginning. With each new step, Avène continues to break down barriers, offering expert-backed education and skincare solutions to all.
Save the Date: On March 12th, Avène celebrates their first ever National Skin Barrier Day, a day that will shine a spotlight on skin health and the power of science-backed skincare, stay tuned!
