Eco-friendly Line Gypsy05 Set to Open Three Retail Locations in Southern California

LOS ANGELES, May 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Iconic California brand Gypsy05 announced they will be opening their first two brick-and-mortar locations in the Los Angeles, CA area at the end of this month. After nearly 10 years of business, the brand has decided to open branded Gypsy05 retail stores – located at 8811 Alden Drive off Robertson in Beverly Hills, CA and in the Malibu Country Mart in Malibu, CA – giving shoppers an eco-friendly Gypsy shopping experience.

Both locations will encompass the true California lifestyle offering a range of boho-chic Gypsy05 apparel for men and women along with their swim line, Gypsy05 Sand. The stores will also carry an assortment of furniture and accessories designed by the brother and sister duo. Gypsy05 Home will consist of colorful chairs, blankets, poufs, handbags and scarves in classic Gypsy05 prints and dyes. To complete the world traveler vibe they envision for their stores, they will incorporate unique found goods, handmade jewelry, candles, and books from around the world retailing from $90 - $450. Both boutiques will be around 800 square feet giving an intimate shopping experience that will look like the quintessential California beach getaway with the exteriors of both stores covered in reclaimed wood while the walls will be coated with a ground limestone plaster.

Owners Dotan and Osi Shoham, best known for incorporating eco-friendly techniques into the construction of their LA made garments including low-impact dyes and organic fabrics, also co-own the solar powered Pacific Blue Inc. dye and wash house where they have worked with premium denim and fashion clients including Velvet, Wild Fox, Current Elliot, Joie, Joes Jeans, Hudson Denim, and Hard Tail

The brand is set to open a third location in Orange County, CA later this year but real estate negotiations have not been completed.
