EDGAR Online, OTC Markets Group Launch New OTC Financials Data Service

The OTC Financials Data service will distribute, in XBRL and other easily consumable formats, historical financial report data from the more than 800 OTC companies providing disclosure via OTC Markets Group's Disclosure and News Service.  The OTC Financials Data service will increase visibility and transparency for investor-focused OTC companies by making it easy for investors to extract, assess, and analyze OTC-traded company financial data.

The partnership enables investors and issuers to consume and manipulate financial data provided by OTC-traded companies, including those not required to file their disclosure with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).  With EDGAR Online's expertise in providing innovative financial data services and OTC Markets Group's expansive community of investor-friendly OTC companies, the two companies hope to fill a need in the marketplace by offering a better, faster and smarter data service for OTC investors.

EDGAR Online will provide the dataset through its I-Metrix Pro platform, via web service (XBRL format), and through relationships it has established with authorized financial data platforms such as S&P Capital IQ. Additionally, the data will be available through the OTC Markets Group website and Yahoo! Finance, where it will be accessible via the individual company quote pages.
