Edible Arrangements Announces New Riverside, CA Design & Distribution Center

WALLINGFORD, Conn., April 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Edible Arrangements, the pioneer and leader in hand-sculpted, fresh-fruit arrangements, announced today the opening of a new west coast design and distribution center located at 14540 Innovation Drive in Riverside, California. The new facility belongs to BerryDirect, LLC which sources and manages the containers designed specifically for Edible Arrangements' artistically designed fresh fruit products.

Previously, the BerryDirect distribution center was a 75,000 square-foot facility located in Lake Elsinore, California. The new Riverside center is located in a 125,000 square-foot warehouse. With this move, ten new employees were added to handle the daily production needs, bringing the total number to 25 employees. Additionally, the new Riverside center is equipped with many energy efficient features such as sky lights, timer ventilation and light sensors.
