El Bandido Yankee Tequila and The Chicago Hotel Collection Launch Exclusive Partnership with NHL Legend Chris Chelios at Iconic Ambassador Gold Coast

CHICAGO, July 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- El Bandido Yankee Tequila is thrilled to unveil a bold new partnership with The Chicago Hotel Collection, kicking off with an exclusive, ticketed launch event on Friday July 18^th at the beautiful and historic Library Bar inside the Ambassador Gold Coast Hotel.

This debut event marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between two iconic Chicago brands known for bold, elevated experiences. Guests at The Ambassador Gold Coast and other participating locations in The Chicago Hotel Collection can now enjoy El Bandido Yankee as part of their inclusive drink offerings. The bars will also feature a curated cocktail menu designed by the brand's award-winning national mixologist.

Currently, guests at the Ambassador Gold Coast and Magnificent Mile properties enjoy nightly perks including three drinks, a daily breakfast buffet, discounts on tours, attractions, and travel — all for just $99.95 per night.

"Partnering with El Bandido Yankee Tequila is a natural fit for us. Both of our brands are deeply rooted in Chicago and committed to delivering unforgettable experiences. As we look ahead to our 100th anniversary, we're excited to celebrate with a local icon like Chris Chelios and a bold brand that matches the energy of our guests."
— W. Pierce Hutchings, Manager, The Chicago Hotel Collection

In anticipation of the hotel's 100th anniversary in 2026, the celebration kicks off early on July 18, 2025, with the unveiling of the "Chelios Bandido Booth" — a new tribute joining the legendary Frank Sinatra Booth and Booth 1 in the iconic Ambassador Room.

"It doesn't get any better than this, El Bandido Yankee is a local brand, created by people who live here, work here, and care about this city. The Ambassador's got a century of history, the owner's a huge hockey guy, and I'm here. This isn't just a partnership, it's family, it's community, and it's about celebrating Chicago the right way."
— Chris Chelios, Co-Founder, El Bandido Yankee Tequila Company

El Bandido Yankee co-founder and NHL legend Chris Chelios will host an unforgettable evening at the Library Bar, featuring a private chef dining experience, live DJ, exciting giveaways, and special appearances by Chelios' hockey inner circle — all ready to "Break out the Bandido!"
