Taste Washington Events and Activities
March 26: The 2nd Annual Red and White Party at AQUA by El Gaucho. Experience an evening with Washington's finest winemakers, sample inventive food and live music. This event provides a rare opportunity to sample exclusive pours from magnums of 90+ point Washington wines and the culinary talents of Executive Chef Wesley Hood. March 28 -29: Join El Gaucho, AQUA by El Gaucho and Taylor Shellfish for our signature oyster bar. Always listed as a critic's favorite stop at Taste, the oyster bar features our Seafood Chowder and local oysters with signature finishes including our classic mignonette and cocktail sauce.
March 28: El Gaucho chef Steve Cain will take the Alaska Airlines Chef's Stage at 4:00 PM to teach guests how to prepare dishes such as El Gaucho Wicked Shrimp using Stella Artois lager.
Cigars and Libations: A Cigar and Spirits Affair at El Gaucho Portland
March 11 and April 13: The recently renovated cigar lounge at El Gaucho Portland will host a series of events with light appetizers, cigars, and beverage selections from our featured event partner. March 11 will include a special offering from Jack Daniels featuring distiller Chris Fletcher. April 13th will feature El Dorado Rum featuring Jacob Grier. Both events are 6-8 PM and $75 per person plus gratuity.
Legendary SWIRL
Saturday, May 16th: El Gaucho Seattle hosts the annual Legendary SWIRL wine tasting event and the SWIRL wine dinners. More than 60 of the world's greatest wineries will be on hand for sampling and purchase and Executive Chef Matt Brandsey has created three unique tasting menus to highlight the following: The World of Cabernet with winemakers from Antica, Marchesi Antinori and Col Solare; Darioush and Spring Valley. The SWIRL Tasting Event is 4:30-6:30 PM and $90 per person. The SWIRL Wine Dinners are at 7:00 PM and $150 per person.
El Gaucho Brunch Returns at El Gaucho Bellevue and AQUA
Celebrate Easter, Mother's and Father's Day at El Gaucho Bellevue and AQUA. Both feature El Gaucho Hunt's Brunch classics including Gaucho Benedict and house-cured pork belly. AQUA's menu highlights Taylor Shellfish oysters on the half shell, poached prawns, mussels and clams. The Hunt's Brunch at El Gaucho Bellevue features Angus Beef® prime rib and made-to-order mac and cheese, omelets, Belgian waffles and French toast, alderwood smoked salmon and poached prawns.
