DALLAS, Feb. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- El Rio Grande Latin Market, DFW's premier Latin themed shopping experience super market is pleased to announce the creation of up to 200 new jobs in the Mesquite, Texas area. These jobs, along with initiatives underway in the community, are part of El Rio Grande's commitment with the Mesquite consumers and the well being of their families, further showcased by the Grand Opening of our brand new El Rio Grande store in Mesquite, between Galloway and Hwy 80, this Wednesday, February 8th at 11:00AM on 2106 N. Galloway Ave.
The day will start with the company's traditional ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00AM followed by an array of tastings, vendor samplings, sales, celebration, and giveaways – including special prizes for the first 100 customers, and the performance of live Mariachis!
The 48,000-square foot full-service supermarket — with its emphasis on fresh produce, health & wellness, and quality — will increase access to fresh, healthy and traditional Latino foods for the community, while it also generates about 200 new jobs.
El Rio Grande Latin Market's newest store will house healthy alternatives from fresh fruits & juices in their Palapa department, to traditional "Carnitas" and spices, to a full complement of traditional Latino inspired dishes in their Cocina, to hundreds of items throughout the store.
The store will feature destination departments like full-service fresh Meat & Seafood departments, a full from-scratch Bakery department with award winning traditional Hispanic fresh breads like Conchas, Bolillos, Marranitos, Empanadas, etc.; along with a high-quality Produce department which will focus on supporting Local Growers.
