CHICAGO, May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- El Socio today launched its web-based news publication by the same name (www.el-socio.com), beginning a new experiment in journalism. El Socio is a new, independent media outlet dedicated to bringing its readers hard-hitting journalism on the tough subjects. Today's beta launch of the inaugural and June edition of El Socio's web publication includes the majority of the sections of content to be offered by El Socio, along with a selection of thought-provoking editorials, to serve as a taste of what is to come. El Socio will be in beta throughout the month of June and at the end of the month the July edition will be released as its first full publication. Thereafter, new content will be available monthly.
El Socio is committed to focusing primarily on long-form, investigative journalism with a specific focus on addressing inequities and conflicts worldwide. El Socio's writers come from a variety of different backgrounds, and all opinions and political leanings are welcome. The company is currently a privately supported non-profit, and its web publication is ad-free. Throughout the next year, the publication has a number of unique features that will be launched in phases.
