ElderHelp urges the San Diego community to rally around its last week of 'Holiday Angels' donation drive
SAN DIEGO, Dec. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ElderHelp is urging the citizens of San Diego to rally around its senior community this holiday season and has created an amazing way to help make a difference – Holiday Angels. This special program, in partnership with the United Parcel Service (UPS), will deliver a festive holiday plant and gift card to the more than 400 senior citizens in the care of ElderHelp of San Diego this holiday season.
"There is no way to feel more joy or more fulfillment this season, then to support someone who would not otherwise receive a visitor or a gift during the holidays," said ElderHelp Executive Director, Deborah Martin. "For many in our care, this may be the only gift and visitor they see throughout the holidays."
The support ElderHelp receives in the form of gift card donations goes 100% to the seniors we serve. To help, purchase gift cards in increments of $25 or $50 (Mastercard & Visa gift cards preferred) or, make a cash donation, by December 6th, by mail or online at www.holidayangelssd.com and we will purchase gift cards for seniors on your behalf.
