Stop Prop 17 Banner Plane Will Fly Over LA County Freeways and Voting Booths Warning About Insurance Company Funded Attack on California Drivers
SANTA MONICA, Calif., June 7 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In the David v. Goliath battle over Prop 17, consumer advocates will fly a banner throughout LA County telling voters to "Protect Yourself from Prop 17 - No on Prop 17." Prop 17, which is entirely funded by insurance companies, would allow car insurers to increase the cost of car insurance for anyone who has had a break in insurance coverage because they were not driving for a period of time for any reason, including not having a car.
Mercury Insurance has injected $16 million into its deceptive Prop 17 campaign. The Stop Prop 17 campaign is flying the banner plane as part of its final Get-Out-The-Vote effort. |
