Electron Database Corporation Extends Footprint to Asia with New Engineering Centre in Singapore

CLEVELAND, June 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Electron Database Corporation (Electron) has announced that it will expand its operations to Asia with support from Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Infocomm Investments Pte Ltd. Electron will set up its engineering and development centre in Singapore to focus on product development with industry partners.

Electron's technology, Electron DB, is highly advanced, enterprise class database software that will dramatically improve the performance of enterprise applications and cloud computing infrastructures. Current database software does not fully leverage many hardware innovations introduced over the last 10 years and will not be capable of leveraging upcoming advancements. Compared to current software, Electron's patented technology is expected to deliver faster performance on today's hardware and dramatically faster performance with hardware innovations over the next few years.
