Eletrobras: Official Host Utility of Brazil's premier international electric power event

SAO PAULO, Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PennWell do Brasil, organizer of the largest co-located electric power event in Brazil, covering generation (with specific focus on hydropower), transmission and distribution of electricity, has announced Eletrobras as the Official Host Utility of 2014's Power Brasil Events (POWER-GEN Brasil, HydroVision Brasil and DistribuTECH Brasil). The events take place in Sao Paulo, from 21 to 23 October, at the Transamerica Expo Center.

Consolidated as the biggest electricity company in Latin America, Eletrobras supports and believes in the PennWell do Brasil events initiative, which promotes debates and discussions to find solutions to current problems that Brazil has been facing in the energy sector. Along with the support of the company, Eletrobras's president, Dr. Jose da Costa Carvalho Neto, will also participate of the events with a keynote presentation about the current status and future of the electric power market of Brazil.
