NEW YORK, Aug. 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- New York based Cirque-tacular Entertainment will present the world premiere of ART OF CIRCUS, a new production that features elite level acrobatics in an intimate setting and draws inspiration from iconic works of visual arts from the last 500 years. The work features an original score by 4 time ASCAP award winning composer, Jesse Elder (PostModern Jukebox) and concept, direction, and acrobatic choreography by Tad Emptage.

Cirque-tacular's ART OF CIRCUS animates, explores, and celebrates visual art masterpieces that feature dance and circus, as well as legendary painters, and the time periods and stories that birthed the world's most iconic images. It is billed as an "acrobatic fantasy world that is at once familiar, unexpected, and timeless." Performances will run in NYC, September 6-11th at Theatre at the 14th Street Y. Additional performances in the tri-state area following the Off Broadway premiere.
